Reporting

The Aviation Tooling Coordinator reports directly to the Materials Manager.

    Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment.

  • Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.

  • Prepare periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer.

  • Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.

  • Inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear visually and report damage or wear to manager.

  • Repair, service, and lubricate tools and equipment, using hand tools, spray gun, or pressurized spray can.

  • May deliver tools or equipment to workers, manually or using hand truck.

  • May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.

  • Ensure calibration of tools, where required is current. Work with managers to schedule calibration of tooling so as not to deter production.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience

  • Basic computer skills with an emphasis on use of Excel.

    The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee will be required to;

  • Occasionally lift 50 pounds

  • Bend

  • Stoop

  • Kneel

  • Crawl

  • Climb ladders

  • Stand for extended periods of time

  • Work at heights of greater than 10 feet utilizing fall restraint equipment as necessary.
