Randstad is looking for an experienced hydraulic technician for a fluid power company on Jacksonville's Southside. You assemble, disassemble, and repair pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves. Diagnose problems and identify parts needed to repair. Test all items, perform work in both shop and field environment. If you have the experience and are looking for a great job today.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Repair, tear down, and troubleshoot pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.

• Build new pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.

• Assist in the machine shop as needed.

• Test completed pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders according to written procedures.

• Record parts and materials needed and request new parts and materials as necessary.

• Maintain a neat and orderly shop.

• Hone/repair barrels.

• Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and 2controls.

• Maintain test stands and equipment according to ISO procedures.

• Know, understand, and abide by environmental policies.

• Welding as needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time
