Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Reach Truck Operator for our shipping department. Your duties will include utilizing RF scanners and SAP for inventory and cycle counts, following work orders, picking and pulling products, and stacking pallets. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged as per the work order before they are shipped out. Products include nails and screws that can weigh up to 50 lbs per box. You will have to use RF scanners, pallet jacks, and reach trucks and may interact with customers from time to time. The job involves sending out 6-8 trucks a day and the heaviest product they could pick is 70lbs. This position requires frequent lifting of 50 lbs and involves physically demanding tasks like pulling product, stacking pallets, and processing labels. It's essential that you have a good attitude and willingness to learn. Comfort with heights is required as you may need to operate a Cherry picker. The work environment is not climate controlled. You must be comfortable working in the heat, though fans are provided in the warehouse.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida.

Work Environment

The warehouse is not climate controlled and candidates must be comfortable working in the heat. Fans are provided in the warehouse. The facility is a 140k sq feet facility with 20 current employees. Shifts are M-F 8:30-5:30 with Saturdays required when busy (shift is typically 6a-12p on Saturdays). We are currently working to eliminate weekend work which is why we are hiring.
