Aerotek Forklift Mechanic in Jessup, Maryland

Description:

• Troubleshoot equipment and facility problems and perform immediate repairs

• Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment

• Completes assigned work orders and interfaces with production personnel in troubleshooting or design improvements

• Rebuild and fabricate parts as required

• Assist in the installation of new equipment

• Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory

Skills:

Maintenance, Milling, Mixing, sprocket, drive shaft, shive, wheel bearing, industrial

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Milling / Mixing equipment maintenance experience nice to have

  • Drive component nomenclature understanding(types/sizes) and selection

  • bearing nomenclature understanding(types/sizes) and selection

  • Installation of Bearings, sheaves, sprockets, gearboxes, chain, belts, motors

  • 5 yrs industrial maintenance experience

  • Basic Welding skills

  • Fabrication skills preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to read manufacturers documentation and parts schematics

  • work on horsepower 1/2 to 250

  • change air cylinders and pistons

Intermediate Level
