Eaton’s ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Molding Set Up Technician. The core hours are 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.50 per hour.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for all duties related to the set up and operation of molds and molding equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Install, set up, and remove molds from a variety of presses including thermoplastic, rotary, and manual; and make adjustments as necessary to maintain the production of quality parts.

• Adjust machine or change tooling as necessary during production run and troubleshoot for efficient operations.

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

• Perform regular preventative maintenance.

• Break down, clean, and store used molds and components.

• Remove carbon, rust, or excess rubber from molds, bushings, and blocks.

• Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness of vacs, water lines, dryers, grinders, chillers, and hot oil units.

• Inspect and operate crane.

• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting

• Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Skills:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two (2) years injection molding experience in a manufacturing environment

• Prior experience as a press set uset-upnician or proven ability to run a machine with multiple settings or specifications.
