Responsibilities

• Maintains plant machinery and equipment following a standard preventive maintenance schedule to keep equipment functioning at maximum efficiency and reliability

• Performs troubleshooting and analysis to fix additional equipment problems as they occur

• Performs general building maintenance which includes, but not limited to, light carpentry and painting, cleaning, lite plumbing, changing of light bulbs, repair of minor electrical devices, changing of filters on HVAC equipment, and monitoring of outdoor spaces

• Assists Facilities Engineer in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment and supplies

• Responsible for the completion of all work assigned to in a consistent, timely and effective manner, referring unusual technical or personnel issues to Facilities Engineer

• Adhere to Organization and the Facilities Department policies and procedures, including appropriate attire, grooming and attendance
