The Machine Repair person will have the following responsibilities and requirements:  

  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and general machinery.
  • Capable of rebuilding and or repairing machines or assemblies to original operating conditions.
  • Familiar with cold heading, hot forging and roll thread equipment a plus

``` - Responsible for PM work and/or documentation of product equipment or processes. - Must be able to fabricate, weld, or machine parts as required. - Must be able to communicate, discuss and/or review repair problems with Engineering, the Tool Room, Production Team Leads or vendors as needed.

Additional Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent. Additional experience, training or formal education is beneficial.
  • Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and must work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written specifications, procedures and prints.
  • Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and above average hand dexterity.
  • Ability to use various measuring devices (torque wrench, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators etc.)
  • Must be able to operate basic maintenance equipment (saw, crane, shear, tow motor, roller, etc.)
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift

         [Physical Requirements]{.underline}

  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required.

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequently lift 11- 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift 51-100 lbs.
  • Frequently bends, twists & turns, reach lower than knee, push and pull, squat and kneel.
  • Lifts above shoulder occasionally.
  • Must be able to operate lift truck -- climb on and off truck, steer and use hand operated levers to control.
