We have one opening for a Maintenance Technician for our Second Shift As a Maintenance Technician II at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to: Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions. Creates, schedules, and follow up maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) work orders in CMMS (MP2). Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as required by PM Program within the guidelines of ISO standards and electrical standards. Work independently in troubleshooting and repair problems with Programmable Logic Controllers and related components when required. Maintain required documentation and files for equipment. This should include all prints and detailed information needed to document that equipment is properly maintained. Maintain the parts and material replenishment process for equipment repaid in order to reduce/minimized down time of productions. Summary Regal Rexnord Thomson Linear/Nook Cleveland Division is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech to perform mid to expert level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. Candidate will need to have the ability to multi-task, manage projects, and work independently in a fast-paced work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Be able to read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics and document all self-created changes. General understanding and hands on experience with explosion proof and intrinsically safe work environments. Proficiency in electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices. Experience using sensing and control devices. Proximity switches through beam sensors, laser distance sensors) Experience using both DC and AC monitors, VG drives and Servo Controlled Systems. Support and follow the Lock Out/Tag Out program. Must fully understand and adhere to the ARC Flash and electrical shock prevention. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Three-Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to associates of the organization. Experience in the use of care of a variety of tools, equipment, and machines are essential. Working knowledge of all the construction trades is required, including electrical wiring, electronic controls, troubleshooting of PLC's, machining, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
