CNC Logs LLC Truck Driver in Lanse, Michigan

CNC Logs LLC is currently seeking experienced and a dependable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver with CNC Logs LLC, you will play a vital role in the transportation of logs from harvesting sites to processing facilities or other designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional service. Monday - Friday with frequent overtime. $23-25/hr

Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate and maintain company-owned trucks in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Transport logs from harvesting sites to processing facilities or other specified destinations.
  3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
  4. Secure loads properly using straps, chains, or other equipment to prevent shifting or loss of cargo during transit.
  5. Adhere to delivery schedules and routes, while maintaining communication with dispatchers and supervisors as needed.
  6. Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly, including trip logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, including regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  8. Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and represent CNC Logs LLC in a professional manner at all times.
  10. Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately to management.

Requirements:

  1. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  2. Minimum of [insert number] years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the logging or timber industry.
  3. Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing commercial vehicle operations.
  4. Ability to operate logging trucks and trailers safely and efficiently, including manual transmission vehicles.

  6. Physical stamina and strength to perform loading and unloading tasks, as well as sitting for extended periods while driving.
  7. Willingness to work flexible hours
