Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven HR Specialist! Are you an HR professional who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping elevate employee experiences? Then we have a position for you. In this position, you will be responsible for understanding the needs, motivations, and emotions of employees, then applying this knowledge to strengthen customers' experiences across the organization.

What you’ll do:

• Assist department leadership with day-to-day HR tasks and ongoing HR projects.

• Organize and coordinate new hire orientations, HR events, and culture committee initiatives.

• Be a point of contact for front line staff on questions ranging from leaves of absences to time and attendance or the handbook.

• Assist with generating job offers and coordinating the onboarding process.

• Coordinate applicant assessments and candidate pipeline for hiring managers.

• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

• Screens applications and phone screens qualified candidates.

• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

• Ensure adherence to I-9, E-Verify, and onboarding processes within specified deadlines.

• Keep track of leaves of absences and coordinate events with our PEO team.

• Uphold data integrity in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Unwavering commitment to confidentiality.

• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

• Skilled in maintaining productive working relationships.

• Excellent customer service skills in building rapport and strong relationships with employees.

• Experience with HRIS and adept at data processing.

• Excellent time management capabilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills with effective oral and written communication abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

• A willingness to roll-up your sleeves and get work done

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
