Steady AV LLC Low Voltage Technician in Lawrenceville, Georgia
We are currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our Atlanta team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in low voltage technology integration and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining| various low voltage systems, including but not limited to alarm, access control, A/V equipment, telecommunications networks, managed/unmanaged networking equipment and CCTV systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure low voltage systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with low voltage systems, including wiring, connections, and equipment malfunctions.
- Perform maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of installed systems.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide training and technical support to clients on the use and maintenance of low voltage systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Act with integrity and honesty while representing SAV Systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including wiring, IP addressing etc.
- Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and techniques used in low voltage installations and repairs.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel long distances to jobsites and occasionally stay overnight at the location of the installation.
