Quality Manager

Direct Hire - ON SITE

Must be able to travel Internationally (up to 15% per year)

Summary The Quality Manager will be tasked with the following Deploying the Strategic Quality Plan at the operational level and provide overall quality leadership to the organization; drive the continuous improvement efforts throughout the operation in support of Total Quality Leadership, the Company's Quality System and the Business System. Provide support to customers, suppliers, and partners of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' Quality Management System experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering or related discipline is preferred
  • Leadership and Decision-Making skills to motivate team members and enhance productivity
  • Organizational skills for managing tasks, coordinating resources, and ensuring smooth operations within the organization
  • Problem-solving abilities and effective verbal and written communication
  • Analytical ability and logical approach
  • Data Analysis - identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify potential operational inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and maintain quality standards
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset
  • A-620 CIS or ISO9001 Internal Auditor Certification is a plus
  • APQP/PPAP experience is a plus

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create an environment and culture where all staff strive to produce quality products and services for the customer with zero defects
  • Ensure effective communications are maintained throughout the company to continuously improve the Quality standard to ensure that all products exceed the expectations of the customers and are made to the correct specifications
  • Manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.
  • Provide leadership and direction for the team in the planning and objective-setting process, leadership skills, developing the culture of the team, managing risk, managing change, and promoting equality of opportunity
  • Collaborate with Customers regarding QHSE matters to ensure their expectations are met
  • Responsible for QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company maintains its accreditations
  • Manage an effective quality sampling, testing and inspection service to ensure that products meet required specifications and standards
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting internal, external, audits for verifying effective implementation of the Quality System
  • Establish and maintain open communication channels throughout the organization to ensure all staff are informed, involved, and engaged in achieving objectives
  • Responsible for ensuring safety in the workplace by the establishment of safe working practices, ensuring the safety and competence of staff.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
