TFPU is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and protecting children in Cache, Franklin, and Rich Counties through 24-hour therapeutic child center, education, therapeutic services and the Starfish Children's shelter.

 

The Family Place Utah (TFPU) is seeking self-motivated and trustworthy individual for the position of a Mental Health First Aid Project Director. The individual selected will serve as the integral team member of the Education Department. This position is a full time, 40 hours per week. The office this individual would be based out of is the Hyrum location and it is 100% in person position.

 

General Description:

The Family Place Utah (TFPU) Mental Health First Aid Program Director supervises Family Educators who are trained to teach the MHFA classes.  These classes will be either virtual or in a group setting. The individual selected would also be responsible for overseeing federal grant requirements and reporting.

Qualifications:

1.       Master's degree in a helping field (Social Work, Human Development and Family Studies, etc.)

2.       Two years' experience working with children.

3.       Provide your own transportation. (Mileage reimbursed)

4.       Annual clearance of a Background Criminal Investigation

  4. Leadership and time management skills
  5. Computer skills (word, excel, social media, etc.).
