Duties and responsibilities related to the Maintenance Manager role

  • Support the Director of Engineering inthe smooth and efficient functioning of theengineeringdepartment, taking charge of all operational aspects

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure theoptimalfunctioning of all equipment and facilities

  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations tomaintaina safe working environment for colleagues and guests. Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions to promote awareness and adherence to safety procedures

  • Identifyopportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the engineering department. Implement measures to increase efficiency, productivity, and reliability of equipment and facilities

  • Provideguidance,trainingand supportto the maintenance team, overseeing task coordination and ensuring thatcolleagues are trained toa high level

  • Maintainaccuraterecords of engineering activities, including work orders, equipment manuals,utilities consumptionand inventory lists. Generate reports on engineering performance and costs for management review

About you

  • Experience with hotel pre-openings and mixed-use complexes is advantageous . You will have excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and health & safety legislation ensures compliance. Strong leadersip and communication skills are essential.
