Building Maintenance Technician - $35/Hour

What's in it for you?

• Payrate: $35/Hour

• Training Schedule: Will be on 1st shift for 1 month

• Work Schedule Option 1: Sunday to Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm

• Work Schedule Option 2: Tuesday to Saturday 2pm to 10:30pm

• Location: Los Angeles, CA

• Paid training & Full time hours

What will you be doing?

• Service and Maintain HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters.

• Perform a variety of minor service work for areas such as painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical / electronic, security, electronic locking doors, hydraulics, carpentry, and machine servicing, etc.

• Plan, select, and lay out required materials for service and repair work.

• Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks.

• Ability to understand building prints, schematics and other available documents while troubleshooting system or other types work requests.

• Assist with managing subcontracted work to ensure proper notifications are sent, work is completed in accordance with designed scope of work and ensures all safety requirements are met.

• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines instrumental to building operations.

• Provide detailed information related to procurement group for new supplies and equipment.

• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and complies with all company policies.

• Required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.

What do you bring?

• 5 years’ experience in a Facility Maintenance environment.

• Understanding of HVAC systems (AHU’s, DX sys, pumps, fans, exhaust systems, etc).

• Working knowledge of Metasys (BMS) a plus.

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems.

• Knowledge in building Security Systems to include card readers, surveillance cameras and electronic locking systems a PLUS.

• Working understanding of UPS and Generator systems.

• Basic Electrical system working knowledge.
