Maintenance Supervisor - Louisville, KY

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities. Your role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Here are the details:

Shift/Schedule: This is a full-time position working Days. Flexibility to work outside of normal schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed.

Compensation: This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly cycle. Compensation is flexible and determined by the candidate's experience level.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Full Safety Quality Standards Are Met Compliance : Ensure full compliance to all safety and quality regulations.

  • Electrical and Mechanical Expertise : You’ll lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they perform both electrical and mechanical repairs efficiently.

  • Workflow Management : Supervise the day-to-day workflow of the maintenance team, including effective scheduling, task assignment, and direction of on-time preventive maintenance and work order completion.

  • Parts Room Oversight : Support overseeing the parts room, ensuring parts are checked out properly and inventory is managed by the entire department.

  • Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with the maintenance manager and manufacturing to identify opportunities for enhancements in both electrical and mechanical systems, aiming to improve plant production.

  • Emergency Response : Be flexible and available to address production or safety issues during nights and weekends.

  • Tech Personnel Supervision : Ensure that assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively by qualified workers, following plant procedures and regulations.

  • Effective Communication : Relay significant plant and personnel issues to the Maintenance Manager and all management levels where applicable.

  • Process Support : Administer maintenance processes such as training programs, surveillance, procedure revisions, and corrective action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management preferred

  • Mechanical/Electrical experience maintaining production equipment preferably with a PLC background

  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a lead or supervisory role

  • Working knowledge of SAP or other CMS

  • Microsoft Office experience
