JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: *University Housing is offering a \$1,000 hiring bonus for this position!* Join the University Housing Facilities Team as a Facilities Technician III. We are seeking energetic and skilled candidates to provide repair and maintenance of all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration systems. Work with a team of professionals focused on excellent customer service with no sales component. Base hours are all daytime hours with flexible start time. Responsibilities: Inspects, maintains, and repairs specialized equipment and facilities to ensure property meets established standards and to prevent further damage. Assists with construction, design and operational maintenance as needed. 35% Utilizes specialized equipment to repair and maintain complex machinery, equipment, and facility property to prevent further damage and ensure optimal operation 10% Performs routine and non-routine facility inspections and monitors cleanliness 10% Troubleshoots, escalates, and documents issues according to established policies and procedures 5% Receives, inspects, inventories, and distributes deliveries independently to appropriate entities 20% Assists trades, crafts, vendors, and technical staff with construction, design, and operational maintenance as needed 5% Services and maintains university vehicles and snow removal equipment, assists with snow removal 15% Assists with the oversight of student workloads, including training and installation, removal, and maintenance of window air conditioning units Tasks: Assists and guides student workers Assists in creating, leading, and participating in a collaborative environment Assists with planning, monitoring, and facilitating resident and guest move in/out Communicates with residents and staff to address service requests Completes work in occupied and vacant residence hall and dining spaces Coordinates and oversees the work of vendors,...
