Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. Commercial HVAC Foreman - Special Projects in Manassas, Virginia

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Foreman to join our Northern Virginia team. The Foreman plays a crucial role in our Special Projects division, taking the lead in executing commercial HVAC system replacements and upgrades with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team members to perform commercial HVAC system installations/replacements and upgrades.

  • Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the installation process and implement effective solutions.

  • Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to ensure work meets company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and complete all necessary paperwork with company issued tablet.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and other team members.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics and apprentices, contributing to their professional growth and technical expertise.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.

    Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven commercial HVAC experience.

  • Universal EPA Certification required.

  • Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, wiring, controls, and components.

  • Must have proficiency in brazing and soldering.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 85 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Must be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and climbing.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.

  • Weekly paychecks - $30 - $50/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
