Here, you will make an impact by:Analyzing financials to drive performance management, planning cycles, and resource allocation across the Consumer Business GroupWorking with four business units and five area teams to provide insights on cashflow management by analyzing, offering insight and expertise to suggest ways to improve cashflow resultsLeveraging data across multiple systems and platforms to drive financial reporting/analytics for QFR, QOR, MRE, Strat Plan, Operating Plan, and Weekly TrackersPerforming financial analysis, identifying actions and catalyzing decision-making to meet financial and operating targetsBusiness involvement providing portfolio support for growth AFEs and NPIsDevelop, maintain and prepare all business NPI reporting and documentation of resultsUnderstand, analyze and report out A/R term mapping, A/R DSO analysis and detailed trend reportingPerform cause of change analysis relating to cashflow and investments across the business groupLeading short-and long-term forecasting, planning and reporting processes, as well as providing overall financial guidanceEnhancing financial and analytical rigor across the finance function and increasing the use of daily/weekly managementIdentifying and implementing ways to streamline current processes and drive additional efficiency and rigorEngaging extensively with FP&A teams in other Areas/Divisions within CBG as well as in other 3M Business Groups to share best practicesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of experience in finance and/or accounting in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:MBA or Finance Graduate degreeStrong financial acumen - ability to translate complex business problems into financial termsStrong experience and ability to influence the organizationSolid understanding of multiple workstreams and how they come togetherSelf-starter with the ability to drive changeStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsFluency in using SAP, PeopleSoft, Longview, BW, Finance Dashboard, and other 3M financial platforms/ systems to extract dataWork location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
