Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift and Weekend Shift

JLG: McConnellsburg, PA

Core Hours:

Monday - Friday: 11pm-7am; plus OT as needed (Paint Department)

Monday - Thursday: 8pm-6am; plus OT as needed

Friday - Sunday: 5am-5pm; work 36 hours and paid for 40 hours

SUMMARY

This role is responsible for general facilities maintenance such as completing routine PM’s, various assigned job orders directed by management, and troubleshooting of various systems from HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs for process equipment including:

  • overhead cranes, hoists, welding machines, milling machines, and towveyors.

  • Apply practical understanding of electronics, relay logics, PLC’s, and three-phase electricity.

  • Ability to effectively use electronic schematics, ladder diagrams, technical manuals, and test equipment to determine defective components and perform repairs.

  • Operate and perform preventive maintenance procedures on multiple machines and/or process equipment.

  • Ability to work from various heights including, but not limited to: ladders or AWPs (Aerial Work Platforms).

  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Ability to work from various heights including, but not limited to: ladders or AWPs (Aerial Work Platforms).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment setting

  • Associates Degree or equivalent (ie. Technical school certification) in the field of advanced electrical/electronics or other related field

  • Computer literacy
