Baptist Memorial Specialist-PACS System III - HS Metro Radiology PACS Corporate in Memphis, Tennessee
Summary
Leads Installations, testing, and troubleshooting of the Company PACS system. Supports the clinical device installation to insure proper interface with the Company PACS. Reports to and works with the PACS Manager to support all aspects of the PACS system. Incumbent is subject to overtime, callback, and on-call as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Leads and coordinates assigned PACS team projects to ensure that goals and desired outcomes are accomplished.
Plans, coordinates, tests, and facilitates the upgrade or installation of PACS system and ongoing support of the PACS system for all of the Facilities.
Adheres to implementation/project schedules by performing assigned responses to ensure timely/efficient delivery of services.
Functions as a support liaison for Information Systems by researching and analyzing concerns/issues to recommend problem/question resolution.
Maintains current knowledge of hospital information systems integration through continuing education/training to ensure proper technical expertise.
Completes assigned goals.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Education
Minimum: Bachelor Degree in either Radiology, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
Experience
Minimum: 5 years Radiology or Cardiology PACS experience.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Minimum: DRIVER'S LICENSE (CURRENT);ARRT(R)
Special Skills
Minimum: Skill and proficiency in communicating and performing the techniques of information systems and/or telecommunications assessment.
Training
Preferred: Microsoft Certification Desired.
