We are builders at heart, working to ensure the built environment has a lasting positive impact. | Let's Redefine Possible The Big Picture: Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to take ownership within the marketing team and support the company's growth in the Advanced Manufacturing Group. This includes developing a deep understanding of how Mortenson solves customer problems and developing key messages and impactful stories that illustrate our capabilities to customers and future recruits. Working closely with business development leadership and group leaders, you will be an integral part of crafting the right stories for the right targets at the right time. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. An ability to work within a team environment collaboratively and provide mentorship to other colleagues is key. Candidates should also be able to work independently, and task manage to execute deadlines successfully. What will you be doing? The manager is a critical part of our team, as this role is responsible for positioning our services and equipping the business development and construction team members to successfully interact with targeted customers. Pursuit Process Help lead the marketing team through a competitive proposal process; initiate and lead internal proposal meetings with marketing team members Produce proposals and presentations to ensure the right message is crafted for key customer stakeholders identified. Lead the overall process, including gathering, verifying, writing, and formatting proposal information. Guarantee the timeliness and quality of each stage of proposal development to completion Act as principal coordinator and editor for all pursuit materials, including qualifications, proposals and interviews Management and Internal Communications Build and maintain efficient marketing processes, record keeping systems and historical information library Develop internal communication plans to regularly engage team members, such as regular newsletters, intranet site, and office/project signage Plan and execute events including the group's annual meeting (in partnership with corporate communications), regular all hands meetings and more Support Senior Marketing Manager & Business Development team to develop annual marketing strategies to support market growth and trajectory Customer Content and Outreach Create materials to augment customer interactions including exhibitions, customer meeting collateral, advertising, publicity, awards, website content, social media, email Coordinate with multiple functions within the operating group (Marketing, Business Development, Estimating, Design Phase, Operations, and more) to effectively craft compelling stories of differentiation within the markets we serve Write articles with key messages demonstrating Mortenson thought leadership, addressing common customer pain points and needs Manage the Seattle digital presence, including writing web pages and strategizing social media posts How will you succeed? 5+ years of experience in winning customer pursuits, proposal writing, and storytelling B2B experience writing key messages for target customer audiences (samples may be requested) Experience in writing thought leadership articles and crafting customer presentations Leverage problem solving capabilities to ensure success on a variety of public and private pursuits AEC or other professional services industry experience preferred Education: 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications or Business or applicable degree (Arts degree format preferred) Advanced to Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, xcel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com Mortenson provides a comprehensive benefits program to team members and their families to support their health, build long-term financial security and provide the opportunity for work and life balance.
