Job Description:

Provides a wide variety of basic maintenance procedures to buildings and equipment including; repairs, preventative maintenance, fire and life safety inspections and facilities improvements and modernization. May be required to assist licensed tradesman on more advanced maintenance tasks. Independently performs daily assigned tasks in an efficient and professional manor. Good communication skills, willing to learn, and attention to detail. Able to perform basic computer work using Windows based software along with handheld devices such as cell phone. Must remain flexible in response to change.

Education/Experience:

High School Graduate or equivalent with Technical School training preferred. Previous experience in the areas of preventative maintenance, equipment and systems repair, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, painting desired. Ability to operate hand and power tools is a safe manor. Able to work with minimal supervision. Able to lift 50lbs and work off ladders. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred; not required.

Certification/License:

Current Massachusetts driver’s license required.
