Description:

Responsibilities: - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on rented generator equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning. - Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in generator equipment, including switches, hoses, gears, diesel engines, and other cosmetic components. - Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. - Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to extend the lifespan of generator equipment. - Collaborate with the rental team to prioritize and schedule repairs based on customer needs and equipment availability. - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment condition. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. - Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to generator equipment maintenance and repair. - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields is preferred. - Proven experience as a Generator Mechanic or similar role, with a strong emphasis on heavy electrical knowledge and heavy mechanical experience. - In-depth knowledge of generator equipment components, including switches, hoses, gears, diesel engines, and other cosmetic components. - Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues in generator equipment. - Strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines related to generator equipment maintenance and repair. - Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and resources effectively. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers. - Must have own tools and possess the ability to use them proficiently. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
