Barclays Capital Inc. seeks Derivatives Trading, VP in New York, NY (multiple positions).JOB DUTIES: • Market make equity options to facilitate client trading demands. • Seek liquidity in options market to achieve optimized execution for client orders. • Analyze sector and company specific news flow to pitch trade ideas and strategize, covering companies in the energy sector. • Manage the book of inventory, monitor and reduce residual risk from client facilitations. • Strategically manage trading book exposure focusing on volatility relative value trading to minimize hedging cost. • Build internal tools using computer programming to optimize quoting process, risk monitoring and analysis. • Collaborate with IT and quant team to improve internal systems used in daily trading activities.• May telecommute.REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computational Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field and Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.RATE OF PAY: $206,500 - $250,000 per year.
