Arcadis U.S.Inc. Project Risk Analyst Transportation & Construction in New York, New York

Arcadis is looking to recruit a Project Risk Analyst to join us in our growing New York City team. This individual will be supporting qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and helping to prepare reports for multiple transportation and building related projects.

This role can be a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days in the NYC office or it can be a remote role however you must be based on the East Coast to be considered.

Role Responsibilities:

The Project Risk Analyst will be involved on a range of major Transportation and Buildings projects. Must possess knowledge of risk management concepts, processes and procedures.

Role Accountabilities

  • Work with a major public clients and numerous program and project teams.
  • Help the risk manager organize and prepare for risk identification and quantification workshops.
  • Review and become familiar with project scope, design, project cost and project schedule documentation for various transportation and building projects.
  • Support the risk manager in facilitating risk identification workshops and recording risks into risk register.
  • With guidance from the risk manager, develop Monte Carlo simulations to quantify risks identified in the workshop.
  • Help prepare written project risk assessment reports


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • PMI-RMP
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Transportation or Construction sector

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must possess an understanding of risk management concepts, processes and procedures.
  • Experience using Palisades @Risk for estimating cost risk
  • Proficiency using Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran for analyzing project schedule risk
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Competence in the use of standard Microsoft Office products

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD& D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine days paid holiday per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $88, 500 - $132, 750
