USG Corporation Sales Representative – Ceilings in New York

_POSITION SUMMARY_

The Ceilings Division Sales Representative is a field based position responsible for developing and enhancing USG’s current and potential account relationships in the territory. Effectively manages a sales territory covering the NYC Metro area, providing sales and service support to an existing customer base comprised of independent gypsum specialty dealers and contractors. This position is NYC Metro area based.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_ _

• Serves as face to customer with primary role of calling on specialty distribution • Prospects new business within current distribution and maintains relationships with all market distribution and key contractors / influencers • Assists and navigates maintenance of business issues (competitive intelligence, complaint handling, product information, customer service issues, etc.) • Requests services from Division sales (contractor/specialty reps/ASR) • Serves as a business advisor to customer
