Job Overview

We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to our winning team!

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing various areas including Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Management, and Controls Engineering. They manage the engineering team, provide support for plant projects, manage budgets, and improve safety and efficiency through engineering designs. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, strong problem-solving and project management skills, excellent communication and training abilities, at least 10 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing, and 5 years of leadership experience. SAP experience is preferred.

A Day In The Life

  • This position is responsible for managing the engineering team overseeing multiple business units.

  • Provides engineering support and project management and for the justification of plant projects, preparation of Authorization for Expenditures (AFEs), purchase, project management, construction, installation and modification of capital and expense projects.

  • Incumbent manages the budgets of the Engineering Department, while preserving assets, reducing operating costs, increasing equipment Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and reducing machine down time.

  • Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager has a major impact on the overall safety, productivity, sustainability, and efficiency of the facility through improved engineering designs, capital evaluations and sourcing.

  • Provide technical leadership to reports and peers.
