ManpowerGroup Contract Hardware Engineer in Plymouth, Minnesota

Our leading electronics distributor is seeking a Contract Hardware Engineer Mid to join their growing team!

As a Contract Hardware Engineer Mid, you'll play a pivotal role in the development of a custom radiation-hardened DDR3 IP solution. You'll leverage your expertise in DDR IP and engineering principles to lead a team and ensure project success.

Location: Plymouth, MN

What’s the Job?

  • Lead the development of a custom radiation-hardened DDR3 controller, PHY, and IP core.

  • Oversee all aspects of the project, including design, verification, and compliance.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal and external development teams.

  • Ensure adherence to DDR3 specifications and industry standards.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of DDR protocols and apply this knowledge in design.

What’s Needed?

  • 5-14 years of experience in DDR IP development.

  • Familiarity with logic design, CDC solutions, and voltage plane optimization.

  • Experience with verification processes for DDR IP development.

  • Understanding of analog circuit development, particularly IO circuitry and PHY.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • US Citizenship with no known barriers to achieving USG Secret security clearance.

  • Ability to work on-site in Plymouth, MN or Deer Valley, AZ (flexible location).
