Job Summary:

We are searching for a self-motivated individual to fill the role of ENTRY LEVEL Prototype and Pre-Production Electric Motors Technician. In this position, you will be responsible the construction of prototype and pre-production electric motors for product and process validation and development. Additionally, you will participate in BPD, GMS and on-site training programs. Responsibilities:

* Participate in BPD/GMS process, to meet strategic plans.

* Document and track all department deficiencies through various problem-solving techniques.

* Build prototype and preproduction electric motors in accordance with the build schedule.

* Analyze motor defects and perform repairs as required.

* Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop welding process for new motor designs.

* Modify and build simply fixtures and tooling.

* Operate machine shop equipment, and motor lab equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, robotic welder, wire forming machines)

* Perform motor electrical tests in accordance with authorized procedures.

* Maintain records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results.
