Common Energy Administrative Assistant in Portland, Oregon

Common Energy is revolutionizing the energy sector. In this role, you will provide support for our world class customer service department by assisting in the day to day operations that improve our potential and current customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and update internal and external documents

  • Coordinate office logistics and team activities

  • Perform general administrative duties and record keeping

  • Assist in the assignment of customer related tasks

  • Compile and present various service-related reports

  • Support your colleagues and team to maintain our positive, friendly, and professional culture

  • Maintain our existing high standards for customer service, and suggest improvements to internal processes as needed

  • Contribute to a positive, fun work environment!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2-3 years in relatable administrative roles

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and proofreading skills

  • Proficient with office software: Spreadsheets, Word Processors, Customer Relationship Management Systems

  • Preferred experience with Google Office, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • You are passionate about problem solving and the potential to develop innovative solutions that enable quality and scale

  • You have outstanding relationship building skills and the ability to quickly establish trust

  • You are driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a “can do” attitude
