Position Overview

As the Manager, Applications Development you will lead a team of Salesforce Admins primarily focused on supporting Salesforce and the managed integrations with Salesforce. This role spans responsibilities from meeting business SLAs for the support tickets, design and hands on development of the Salesforce Admin functionalities, maintenance and optimization of the Salesforce platform and Release Management. You will focus on ensuring all viable options are objectively considered and balance business goals with technical design and project constraints to meet requirements.

This role needs a technical leader and people manager to lead a technical team. This role requires deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform, specifically the Salesforce Service Cloud and managed integrations like TaskRay, IVR/IVA systems like Five9, Admin tools like DataLoader, Workbench etc.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work directly with other developers, dev managers, architects, and Salesforce admins to design and build solutions that solve the needs of our end-users in a scalable way.

  • Respond to Salesforce user requests, adhere to the SLAs and assist with developing solutions to address business needs

  • Plans, documents, and executes unit test plans to ensure completed code meets defined success criteria.

  • Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases and release features

  • Ability to keep up with current technology trends in Salesforce to access and make recommendations on processes, design, and operation and a strong desire to implement best practice solutions

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the admin team such as one-on-ones, collaboration with the Salesforce Development team, and prioritization and scoping of work items.

  • Deploy, monitor, and support software releases during iterative development cycles

  • Provides documentation to support code changes

  • Manage Data feeds and other integrations.

  • Communicate with senior management on the status of projects, timelines, challenges to implementation, and deployments in a non-technical manner.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ Years’ experience leading or managing a team of Salesforce admins/support reps.

  • 3+ years experience with Salesforce User Management, Reporting, Flows, Connected Applications, Managed Packages, Sharing rules and visibility and Sandbox Refreshes.

  • Salesforce Administrator Certificate

  • Senior Salesforce Administrator Additional Salesforce Certification preferred

  • Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud

  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.

  • Experience building and maintaining integrations between multiple enterprise systems

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $115,000- $140,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here (https://rise.articulate.com/share/NWT-xukAz2nsMapN3L3TSRXfxzBGrFh_#/) .
