Labcorp PAML Support Services Team Lead Accessioning in Renton, Washington

PAML a LabCorp Company is seeking a Accessioning Team Leader to join our team. In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".
Pay Range: $21.00 to 39.00 Hourly + Shift 2 Differential
Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 pm to 1:30 am overtime and rotating weekends may be required
Location: 1037 Thomas Ave SW, Renton, WA 98057

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of the day to day operations of the accessioning department
Help lead the team in their daily processes and procedures
Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas
Encourage process improvements and best practices
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Resolve any production errors as requested by management
Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures
Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus
3 years of relevant experience; preferably in a clinical laboratory
Prior leadership experience is a plus
Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferred
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
Must be 21 years of age, reliable transportation, and clean driving record if applicable
