The Sr. Supply Chain Business Analyst for Leica Biosystems is responsible for the reporting and evaluation of critical supply chain data including labor and warehouse performance, transportation data, and customer order demographics to drive efficiency and business improvement.

This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Organization (GSC) located in Richmond, IL and will be hybrid. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of Global Supply Chain and report to the Distribution Program Manager responsible for leading all distribution & transportation for the Americas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create comprehensive data analytics to enable supply chain and operations teams to make faster more informed decisions.

  • Work across the LBS functions to define and implement a data warehousing strategy to support this reporting.

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting our ERP development and WMS system to enable more efficient and effective operating processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Develop, implement, and sustain accurate and robust reporting tools across supply chain planning, logistics, and finance functions using, Power BI and other reporting tools.

  • Translate business goals, user needs and process improvements into data management functions and requirements for development.

  • Maintain project funnel, assess priorities with GSC team and drive project implementation schedules.

  • Candidate will assess business implications of data system designs and the data requirements of user needs to provide most effective solution.

  • Assess whether data is credible for use by performing validation of outputs.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 3 or more years of experience in data management, analytics, and business intelligence

  • Experience developing and maintaining reports in Power BI or similar BI visualization tools.

  • Experience in using ERP systems, SAP preferred. The ability to extract, clean, evaluate and model data.
