POSITION SUMMARY

Job Overview:

As an Inventory Control Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our inventory management processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and standard operating standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of inventory control specialists.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track stock movement.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, spot checks, and annual physical inventories.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking of inventory.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for efficient inventory management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Train and mentor inventory control staff on best practices and safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
  • Report yearly/monthly/daily results across the SSE network

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and industry trends.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
