Mobile Communications America DAS Engineer - VA in Richmond, Virginia

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Designing DAS systems within * *iBwave * and RF fundamentals, proficiently.   *

  • Quoting DAS systems with minimal oversight.

  • Commissioning DAS systems.

  • Producing RFP presentation materials.

  • Troubleshooting system issues and offering solutions.

  • Providing sales support, including customer engineering interface.

  • Supporting projects and proposing improvements to best practices to team and leadership. * *

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, required.

  • 3+ years of research and/or industry experience.

  • Experience with RF prediction tools and/or AutoCAD.

  • Ability to produce RFP presentation materials.   

  • Multifaceted Professional capable of Technical Engineering & Project Management

  • Valued team player and works in parallel with peers and cross-functionally. Strong communication skills with end users and third parties.

  • Participates and works well within cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Provide training and guidance to lower-level engineers and co-ops.

  • Actively pursue growth opportunities.

  • OEM certified, iBwave Level 1BS, preferred.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours Monday – Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends depending on project schedules.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
