Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Refrigeration Mechanics for projects located in the Richmond, VA area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience and skill level.If you are a Refrigeration Mechanic and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Change motors

• Replace bearings, belts, and filters

• Charge refrigeration systems

• Read blueprints, and manuals

• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits

• Install wiring to connect components to an electric power source

• Disassemble malfunctioning systems & test components, using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic testing equipment

• Braze or solder parts to repair defective parts and leaks

• Execute approved program on scheduled maintenance and repairs (PM's).

• Maintain records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions

• Consult with service representatives and others as necessary to accomplish installation of repairs

• Perform necessary tests, to include water sampling and adding chemicals to air conditioning systems as required

• Support GFSI and FSMA

• Assist in ensuring that the SQF system is in place and company is in compliance with all aspects of HACCP plan, SSOPs, and GMPs throughout the plant

• Report all food safety issues to an immediate supervisor

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience repairing, and troubleshooting equipment

• Must pass drug screen, and background check
