We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment in both indoor and outdoor settings. This position requires an extensive understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and networking principles, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.

salary: $40,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Install and configure surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and related security equipment according to project specifications and industry standards.

• Perform site surveys to assess electrical and networking requirements for surveillance system installations.

• Run wiring and cables, including CAT5/6, coaxial, and power lines, to connect cameras and other devices to control panels and monitoring stations.

• Troubleshoot issues with existing surveillance systems, including wiring problems, network connectivity issues, and equipment malfunctions.

• Test and calibrate cameras and sensors to ensure optimal performance and alignment.

• Provide technical support and assistance to customers, including training on system operation and troubleshooting guidance.

• Maintain accurate records of installation projects, including equipment inventory, wiring diagrams, and service reports.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
