Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Part-Time Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This position will support our accounting operations by performing various tasks such as maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Manage collections and ensure timely billing.

• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Month-End and Year-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
