Summary: The Die room Operator issues, cleans, inspects and applies barrier materials to dies. Weigh out proper amount of powder for the job to be run, loads powder into dies and pre-presses, checks pressed parts and deburrs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read and interpret routers, planning sheets and related technical data to assure control of the disbursement, setup and cleaning of dies.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Cleans and inspects dies.
• Prepares and applies barrier materials to die to assure proper operation of the press.
• Loads the dies and pre-presses them. Parts are checked visually and dimensionally for density.
• Deburrs parts.
• Segregates parts for additional processing.
• Maintain proper labeling and inventory of dies.
• Comply with all safety, quality and work rules and regulations.
• This position requires that the employee wear a respirator when necessary.

Hours: 40 - M-F; Day, Evening, Night shifts
