TalentTeam is seeking a dependable and experienced CNC Operator to work in one of the largest and most complete distributors and processor of metals in the region. 

Job Details:   

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 11:30pm -- OT might be required  

• Compensation: $23 to $27/hr DOE 

• Employment Type: Long term/ Contract to Hire   

     

Responsibilities:   

• Able to read the specifications of the work order to determinate any machine adjustments and material requirements. 

• Follow order filling procedures per company ISO Quality Program 

• Measures 1st article piece to make sure it meets accuracy or machine and work order requirements. 

• Complete all work order requirements such as, heat Number, part number, part number markings, tag number, PO number and packaging instructions on the work orders. 

• Observe machine operation to detect work defects or machine malfunction. 

• Reports irregularities tom supervisor. 

• Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. 

• Wear all the proper PPE: Hard hat, safety shoes and safety glasses. 

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

    

Qualifications:   

• Able to speak and read English, comprehend drawings, and machine operating instructions. 

• Ability to communicate with other employees. 

• Able to operate overhead cranes and other equipment necessary to perform job. 

• Ability to read tape measure, or any other measuring device. 

• Ability to interpret instructions in written and/oral. 

• Must adhere to all safety rules. 

• Able to lift 50lbs. 

• Previous experience is required.
