University of Utah Finance & Employment Coordinator in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

In this position you will grow your administrative and financial skills, paving the way for future opportunities in higher education and the private sector. Youll serve on a small team of finance/accounting, Human Resources, marketing and administrative staff, closely led by the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration. After appropriate training, youll work with faculty and staff to resolve payroll issues, complete HR procedures, process timekeeping functions, resolve documentation problems, process purchasing payments and other transactions. Youll be involved in most general accounting, finance, human resources, purchasing & payroll processes for the College of Nursing.Although youll consistently have access to supervision and guidance, we will rely on you to embrace the job without being micromanaged. Well trust you to take action, to ask questions, to own your area of work, and to resolve issues without always being told or monitored.This is a coordinator-level position, so someone who has been a reliable Administrative Assistant, secretary or clerk or has experience with office work would be a good candidate.
