Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 1 year of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Experience working in an analytical role, working with data to identify trends and make recommendations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • 4 years of experience as a product manager within the media, content, or live streaming systems, with a proven record of successfully prioritizing, ideating, and launching impactful products and solutions.

  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

  • Experience using data and metrics to influence business decisions, inform priorities, and evaluate impact of initiatives.

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a cross-functional team.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to balance short-term goals and long-term vision.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager for YouTube’s Movies, Shows, and Sports team, you will support content management products that ensure YouTube’s subscribers can access and enjoy movies, sports, and shows. In this role, you will own the systems and processes that enable operations, partners, and engineering teams to deliver, validate, process, and track videos annually and ensure on-time delivery.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build and communicate an idea and strategy for the domain throughout the cross-functional stakeholders, operations teams, and partners.

  • Develop innovative solutions to scale how media assets are delivered, managed, and assembled for playback including Movies, Shows, and Live Event data.

  • Direct cross-functional teams, design, engineering, and data science to discover and execute opportunities through automation, and transforming workflows using ML and AI.

  • Develop and deliver a roadmap that balances the needs of partner teams and prioritizes what is most impactful for subscribers and businesses.

  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements.
