Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Software Engineering, PMTS / Principal Software Engineers in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Build highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems to deliver cloud-scale security software services. Architect and implement services to protect products and infrastructure against malicious attacks. Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. *Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Large scale distributed systems; (2) Object-oriented programming (Java, Go, Python, C++, or C#); (3) Public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure); (4) Scrum or other agile development methodologies; (5) Operating systems (Linux, Mac, and Windows); (6) Relation databases (MySQL or Postgres); (7) Machine Learning; (8) Docker; and (9) Kubernetes.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $185,800.00 - $296,400.00 per annum.
