JOB PURPOSE:

  • Move product and components to and from packaging line

  • Load and unload trucks

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:

  • Keeping lines supplied with proper components to insure continuous operation.

  • Operate and maintain stretch-wrappers, and other equipment.

  • Loading and unloading of trailers.

  • Maintain proper documents and identification of product.

  • Know how to operate and maintain fork lifts.

  • Safely operate forklifts at all times.

  • Report all problems to lead operator.

  • Other lead/supervisor directed tasks.

  • Fill in on line as needed.

  • Train other team members.

  • Required to follow all safety, FDA, GMP, GDP requirements

RESULTS EXPECTED:

  • Ensure proper loading and documentation of outgoing product.

  • Ensure proper components supplied to line.

  • Ensure proper skid wrapping of finished product.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Forklift driving skills.

  • Understanding of resource needs list.

  • Ability to function in a team environment.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / DECISION MAKING

  • Ensure proper loading of trucks.

  • Ensure proper components supplied to line.

  • Immediately report unacceptable quality to lead operator.

  • Maintain proper records.
