Robert Half HR Specialist in Temperance, Michigan

Description Robert Half is currently seeking a capable and experienced PART TIME M-F 5 hrs/day HR Specialist to support our human resources department in managing payroll, onboarding new hires, and overseeing benefits management. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of ADP software and previous experience supporting HR functions in a similar setting. This position pays up to $27/hr.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and process payroll for approximately 50 employees through ADP platform.

  2. Oversee full onboarding process of new hires, including documentation, orientation, and training.

  3. Administer all employee benefit programs including enrollments and terminations.

  4. Coordinate health, life, and disability insurance enrollments and communicates with service providers concerning routine administration of programs.

  5. Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated in the HRIS.

  6. Maintain and update company directory and other organizational charts.

  7. Handle employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.

  8. Facilitate HR related workshops when necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.

  2. Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in human resources specializing in payroll, onboarding, and benefits administration.

  3. Proficiency in ADP software is a must.

  4. Keen understanding of labor laws and payroll tax.

  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  7. Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.

  8. Discretion dealing with confidential information.

  9. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Requirements Payroll - Under 100 Employees, ADP - Payroll, Benefits Administration, Onboarding
