The Australian facility was established in mid-2012 and due to continued growth; we are in the process of expanding our Operations team, with a focused view toward greatly expanding our resources and local capabilities.
Job Summary
This is a hands on role within our Operations team that plays an important role to ensure our warehouse is maintained to high standards and take control of freight. The successful applicant will provide the expertise and knowledge on all things inventory storage as we take steps in our factory restructure and operations growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory movements, stock control, parts picking for pump assembly and spares, customer orders, etc.
• Maintaining inventory stock levels according to business needs
- Freight coordination, including consignment control, order tracking, sea & air freight tracking
• Organising freight quotes according to customer enquiries and orders
• Assist with Warehouse stock layout and configurations according to best methods
• Provide support for relevant customer communications where required
• Some basic assistance and support with quality control checks
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of ISO based system implementation and management
Warehousing or Mechanical Engineering trade experience
Forklift Licence
A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business.
Experience in using Power Tools, and measuring equipment
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Fully site based, at our Tuggerah NSW facility
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will be multi skilled but at the same time also have a willingness to learn new things and adapt on a daily basis, as an understanding of our pumps and associated components is crucial for success in this role
This position will require someone who has warehousing experience
Dedicated Customer Service of the highest level
Inventory handling experience
Meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication and a focused work ethic
Forklift licence
Knowledge of various freight systems and transport networks, both domestic and international
A knowledge of the progressive cavity pump industry would be advantageous
Some experience and understanding of SAP software would be highly regarded
Experience using an overhead crane is desirable, but can also be trained
Experience in warehouse layouts and design changes
Experience in using Power Tools, and measuring equipment
