Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Higher Education industry based in Tuskegee, Alabama. This role entails answering multi-line phone systems, providing customer service, data entry, and email correspondence. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our organization, hence, a strong focus on customer service and interpersonal skills is required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a multi-line phone system to answer and direct calls efficiently

• Provide excellent customer service to all callers, visitors, and employees

• Perform data entry duties to maintain accurate records

• Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and emails

• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external contacts

• Organize files and documents to ensure easy retrieval and efficient office operations

• Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff, ensuring smooth office operations

• Assist in other administrative tasks as required to support the daily operations of the Higher Education institution. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential

• Demonstrated experience in answering multi-line phone systems

• Outstanding customer service skills are required

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in managing email correspondence professionally

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of people

• Capability to organize files systematically and maintain records

• Must be able to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively
