About the role

The Business Solutions Architect will lead the specific technical assigned area being the ultimate responsible for the project's results and customer satisfaction. Oversee and establish policies and procedures, as well as coordinate the work within the specific area. Set area goals and ensure that all collaborators are working to meet these goals.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, processes, and requirements.

  • Lead the design and architecture of Cyberbank solutions that meet client needs and align with industry best practices.

  • Guide the Product Owners, on your team, to create backlog and manage the change by managing client’s expectations properly.

  • If needed, provide professional advisory services to guide the client on roadmap development and drive continuous delivery and improvement.

  • Once the implementation starts, facilitate the business analytics and engineering team on managing the backlog, refining the requirement, delivering the requirements that have been collected / confirmed with the customers and ensuring the quality.

  • Define and document solution architecture, including system integrations, data flows, and technical specifications.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to ensure successful solution delivery.

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Conduct solution demonstrations and workshops to showcase software capabilities and gather client feedback.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in online banking/mobile and Banking Core solutions architecture, and business process optimization.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations to maximize the value of our software solutions.

  • Support pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, requirements gathering, and proposal development, as needed.

  • Collaborate with peers to implement best and next practices and pioneer leading operational excellence

  • Lead, coach and develop teams, bringing energy and passion for the business

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (10+ years) working in a similar role, preferably in the software industry or consulting.

  • Deep business knowledge of the banking industry (retail/consumer, small business, commercial; Deposits, and Lending).

  • Strong understanding of banking business processes and experience with business process analysis and optimization.

  • Experience implementing banking core solutions, online banking/mobile solutions.

  • Solid technical background with expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and system integration technologies.

  • Deep industry knowledge of the North American market (Online/Mobile Digital, Core Banking), key players, competitors, pros & cons.

  • Knowledge of technology trends in banking and other leading industries.

  • Deep knowledge of Banking Core product and all key modules / concepts.

  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with SaaS solutions.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Budgeting & Planning.

  • Performance tracking: utilization rate, hourly rates, and over/under management.

  • Negotiation and communication skills.

  • Experience growing, mentoring, and motivating a team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.

    Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation

$124,800 — $175,500 USD
