Eaton Corporation Division Sourcing Manager in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Primary Function:

The Power Delivery and Regulation (PDRD) Sourcing Manager will lead a team responsible for initiatives related to the procurement of domestic and international components and finished goods that are purchased and sold. You will have an opportunity to drive supply chain resiliency while ensuring that materials are procured at the lowest total cost by driving SCM cost savings and cost avoidance projects for the $400M annual spend. In this highly visible role, you will partner with the global procurement organization and the PDRD Supply Chain leaders to develop commodity strategies that align with the division’s strategic plan and prioritize opportunities to improve productivity, cost, quality, and service.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop the Global Sourcing Strategy for PDRD along with the Global Procurement Organization to ensure business continuity.

  • Lead a team of four direct reports responsible for sourcing initiatives that drive results measured by lower material costs, improved productivity, and increased supply chain resiliency.

  • Evaluate procurement methods and recommend/implement new procedures, strategies, and best practices.

  • Lead the supplier market analysis, ensure supplier qualification for RFQ’s, and provide recommendations that deliver the best value for Eaton.

  • Manage logistics for the PDRD division with a focus cost, performance, and flexibility.

  • Ensure compliance of all purchasing policies.

  • Establish operational policies and implementation of long and short-term plans to achieve divisional objectives for procurement of raw materials and finished parts.

  • Develop and maintain relationship with key suppliers including measuring supplier performance and driving improvement plans (PPV, quality, delivery, cost, etc.)

  • Work with sales, marketing, and new product development operations to improve forecasting communication to our supply base and integrate into the SIOP process.

  • Ensure sufficient capacity exists in our supply base, to meet short and long-term volume requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a supply chain function for a multinational, dynamic industry leader, with 5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement

  • 2+ years direct people leadership experience

  • Proven track-record of successful implementations of annual cost savings through negotiation, supplier VAVE, product redesign and effective supplier development/resourcing efforts

  • Experience in a large cross-functional matrix organization with a high number of new product launches each year.

  • Experience with SAP ERP, Procurement and Material Management Functions, preferred

  • APICS SCSP, APICS CPIM, or ISM CPM certification, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree, Advanced Degree preferred

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $ 136,500.03 to 200200.04 a year.
